Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC)

Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) Overview

Roller compacted concrete, or RCC, has the same basic ingredients as conventional concrete, but it is created from a mix that is stiff enough to be compacted by vibratory rollers. RCC is typically constructed without joints, and it does not require forms, finishing, or reinforcing. These characteristics make RCC simple, fast, economical, and a great choice for heavy-duty applications like intermodal yards, industrial flooring, and bridges.

Concrete Streets and Highways

When it comes to long-lasting performance, concrete is the best answer for building streets and highways. Updated technology in admixtures and fibers is making our concrete streets and highways even stronger, with some roadways performing up to 50 years longer than their expected service life.

Many other materials provide high performance in the short term but require time-consuming and costly upkeep in the long term. When working with Ozinga’s concrete, you can be assured that you’re making a worthwhile and long-lasting investment.

Industrial Flooring

In an industrial setting where heavy machinery is constantly on the move, the workday cannot be stopped due to a problem with the floors. With industrial-strength concrete, warehouses can run smoothly on a reliable, heavy-duty Industrial Flooring for many years with low maintenance.

Intermodal Pavement

Daily heavy traffic can take a major toll on industrial pavement. By using Intermodal Pavement, these areas can withstand even the most intense traffic loads and even remain in service for years without requiring much maintenance, ensuring a productive transport center.

Concrete Parking Lots

To assist civil engineers, geotechnical engineers, contractors, developers, owners, and specifiers, Ozinga provides detailed concrete road and parking lot design recommendations, including joint layout and load transfer plans. This program helps specifiers deliver quality 20-year pavement designs to ensure successful concrete projects. Also included in these recommendations is a review of your current asphalt pavement sections.

Ozinga provides Parking Lot Design Assistance services for conventional concrete projects as well as for projects interested in using pervious concrete, roller compacted, and concrete overlays.
